Easy Hike to the Village of Kap Dan.
A guided walk from the hotel through the village and up to a viewpoint, learning about culture, nature and everyday life. Lasts about 3 hours; DKK 200

Drive to View Point
From the hotel along a mountain track a short scenic ride to a mountaintop overlooking the Ocean and the Kulusuk Island. Lasts about 2 hours; DKK 295

Apusiaajik Glacier by boat

Sail past a fascinating variety of icebergs and flow to the impressive Apusiaajik Glacier. This tour which cruises close to a glacier is an unforgettable experience.

Hiking to the ruins of the mysterious hunting wall

An easy hike from your hotel to the lake. Cross the river and walk thru the marchland to the Big stone which the local hunters have used for centuries to spot their prey. Nearby, find the remains of an ancient wall which was used to trap wild life. This wall is believed to date back several hundreds of years. After a stop for refreshments you'll go in search of an old hunter’s grave and also the old prayer stone, which was used to contact the ancient Inuit Gods. The guide will tell about Inuit beliefs and religious traditions to help bring this special place to life.

An important note for travelers returning to Iceland from Greenland. Flying is the only way to travel in Greenland. The aircraft that serve Greenland fly from one remote area to another and any delay at one airport is telegraphed through the system, adding an elelment of chance to making connections in Iceland. You cannot schedule a trip from Greenland back to Iceland on the same day that you are scheduled to leave Iceland

Please also note that there is no flight to or from Kulusuk on Sundays.
